SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT'S INITIAL DATA COLLECTION

As part of this project, a survey was included for both Basic Vocational Training (FPB) and Intermediate Vocational Training (FPGM) teachers. A population of 190 teachers in FPB and 543 teachers in FPGM was estimated, thus calculating a sample for a confidence level of 95% and with a sampling error of 5% for the entirety of the Balearic Islands, of 157 subjects in the case of FPB and 239 subjects in the case of FPGM. The distribution by islands was designed through a proportional sample that slightly overestimated the participation in the smaller islands in order to achieve for each island a confidence margin of 90% and a sampling error of 5% in Mallorca and nearby to 10% in the rest of the islands. Subsequently, the fieldwork began, which was developed online and via email in all centers and carried out during the first semester of 2021. The result of the field work has been totaled in 287 valid surveys of which 106 correspond to FPB and 179 to FPGM, which is 67.5% and 74.9% of what is predicted by the FPB and FPGM samples , respectively.
