Objetivos generales y específicos
Purpose:
The project aims to deepen the knowledge of the teaching styles and practices of VET and FPGM teachers a0nd how these are related to educational outcomes to design, implement and evaluate actions that promote the generalization of beneficial educational practices in terms of dropout prevention.
Hypothesis:
- The teaching styles and pedagogical practices of Basic Vocational Training (FPB) and Intermediate Vocational Training (FPGM) teachers are key elements to improve the academic results of students and prevent them from dropping out of their studies.
- Identifying teaching styles and pedagogical practices of teachers related to good student academic results and low dropout rates in FPB and FPGM will provide scientific evidence for the development of successful practices at these educational levels.
- The transfer of these successful practices among the teaching staff of these educational levels will positively influence students' academic results and the prevention of their dropout.
General and specific objectives:
- To obtain new knowledge on the characteristics of teaching styles and pedagogical practices, as well as their relationship with academic results and dropout prevention in vocational secondary education (FPB and FPGM).
- To establish the characteristics of successful practices in FPB and FPGM based on scientific evidence derived from the study of teaching styles and pedagogical practices of teachers, and their relationship with educational outcomes.
- To promote the generalization of successful pedagogical practices to reduce dropout rates in vocational secondary education (FPB and FPGM).
